The Truth About My Parents and Me
Deep down I really want my parents to be proud of me for everything I accomplished. I know this sounds silly because I’m a grown man and my parents are getting old but it is absolutely true. I want my parents to tell me that they are proud of me all the time and all I want is to win their approval. It is so strange that even though you know deep down your parents approve of you you actually just want to hear it all the time. I do not know why this is. My parents would approve of me almost no matter what I did but I still feel the motivation to prove to them that I am worth their love. Why is this true? I think that it is not unique to me. I think that all my friends feel this way too. Well, most of my friends feel this way, some of my friends do not feel this way because their parents are failures and not expect much of them. I think maybe I will try to get famous by making utube videos, then my parents will finally be proud.
