Charcoal is Messy
Charcoal has got to be the messiest thing to draw with ever. I know pastels are bad, and oil paint smells awful, but nothing is quite as bad a charcoal. I think it is because how fine charcoal dust can be. Even when you are making a gentle line across your paper, not only does your hand get completely black, but the fine little particles of charcoal go flying off in a thousand directions. They end up on the paper (only some of them), on your face, your hands, your shirt, the floor and everywhere else. And, of course, after you’ve been working for a bit, you are bound to forget how black your hands are at some point, and wipe your forehead or your face. And then you look like a chimney sweep, not an artist.
Still, charcoal has its place. There are a lot of subjects that just seem to be made for it. And maybe I’ve finally figured out why all my art friends wear black – the charcoal doesn’t show.

I wanted to have a professional photo taken from me and my newborn baby, so I scheduled a photo shoot with a Gurnee Photographer. I hesitated a lot before signing up for this, because I thought that $100 for one photo was too much. But I’m very happy I decided to go for it now. When I got to the studio they were already ready for us. A beautiful background had been set up and a comfortable Victorian armchair was standing in the middle of the set. The photographer took many photos of us under different angles and in several positions. Fortunately my baby slept all the way through. It took a little over an hour to get the photo shoot done. Then we sit for another 15 minutes and I picked up a few frames I especially loved. When I came to pick up my photos a few days later, I couldn’t have been happier with the results.

I feel that this lens might be too light and fragile and it might not be wide enough if you are shooting with a DX format. If you are rich and can afford the FX format, then this lens will be a true gem. This lens will give you the full 28mm wide angle perspective and in the coming years when Nikon release more FX lenses, you will be able to enjoy breathtaking scenery at a very low price. For those of you who uses a DX sensor camera, I would recommend going for the 35mm lens. The older version of this lens can be had for cheap anywhere online.
Canvas Prints of Our Day at the Playground
I just ordered the most adorable canvas prints that I have ever seen. I had these pictures of my kids at the playground and I loved them. I really thought that the pictures would look great in my kids play room. The kids all look so genuinely happy in the pictures. I really have a hard time finding pictures where they don’t have their fake smiles on and these ones were awesome. I know that they had a really great time at the park that day and that it is a day that none of us ever want to forget. I got multiple canvas panels made that I could put together to make an awesome montage in the room. I got enough of them to cover the biggest wall in the room. I know that it will make a great addition to the play area and give them some giggles as they look at the pictures.
I Have a Custom Portrait in My Bedroom
I have a custom portrait in my bedroom. My custom portrait represents an oil painting reproduction of the painting: “Death and Life”. When you look at the painting you may get inspired by the vitality of the women that are painted on the painting. Life is recreated by handsome men and beautiful women. I like especially how the blond woman with the blue eyes is painted. There are also children on the painting. The death is painted in black and blue colors. The death is painted on the left side of the painting. There are many black crosses on the left side of the painting. The left side of the painting is in contrast to the right side of the painting. The painting infers that life opposes death. The painting has deep philosophical meaning. I like very much to reflect on this painting. It creates meaning to me. In my opinion this is the best painting by Gustav Klimt.
Its All About the Name Badge
Today while I was at work a customer came in and was acting very strange towards me. I was talking to him and he told me it is a good thing that all of us at the resturant wear name badges. I did not really know what he meant untill later on my boss came up to me and told me that he complimented my service at the resturant. People always tell me how important it is to wear a name badge while you are on your shift and untill today I really never understood why it was so important. I am glad that the person left a compliment about my job and I am glad that my name badge was so nice that my name stood out for him to remember it. It was only a matter of time before someone said that thou because I always do my job to the best of my ability, and with my lucky name tag, im sure there will be more compliments to come!

I did not like photography in the beginning. I did not see its beauty and effect it can bring to the lives of people. I often asked my friends who are photographers of what they see in it that bring them together. They themselves cannot answer, they find it difficult to explain especially to me that is not a fan of it. But all of those were in the past.
